Originally from Toronto, Amanda Lowery started taking agility classes in 2003 with her first Swedish Vallhund while living in Denton, Texas, working with Debbie Spence at Positive Agility Working School (one of the “OG” North American agility trainers).
She has since competed and titled dogs in CPE, NADAC, AAC, UKI, TDAA, and primarily AKC. She has put multiple AKC MACH and PACH titles on her dogs, has competed in national events multiple times, double Qd at Westminster in 2023, and her Swedish Vallhunds have finished in the top 5 for AKC Agility in their breed (and been invited to the AKC Agility Invitational) every year since 2014.
Amanda has attended working seminars with Melanie Miller, and with OneMind Dog instructors Anna Eifert and Kayl McCann, and Jamie Moreau (among others).
