Therapy Dog Classes

Beginner Therapy Dog Class covers all basic foundations that a Therapy K9 Candidate will need to become a confident and reliable therapy dog. It will focus on preparing dogs for the Therapy Dog International (TDI) test Phase I.

Prerequisite: a dog with a friendly, calm temperament. Must have taken a puppy or obedience class at PDS or any other training facility.

Once your dog passes, you can work as a team visiting hospitals, nursing homes, schools and wherever therapy dogs are needed.
